Nursery and Preschool

NURSERY

The nursery ministry serves children 6 weeks to 2 years old. It is available during all Sunday morning worship services. 
  • Infant Nursery: (6 weeks – 1 year)
The infant nursery is fully staffed, with rooms to play and sleep. Equipped with cribs, swings, rocking chairs and toys that insure the safety of your infant.  The child will be promoted to the toddler nursery on their 1st birthday or when he/she becomes a steady walker.  The decision to promote is ultimately up to the discretion of the parent.
  • Toddler Nursery: (1 – 2 years)
The toddler nursery is also fully staffed with two playrooms and a snack/story time room. The rooms are equipped with fine and gross-motor activities and an organized snack and story time is provided during the 9:30 service on Sunday mornings.

PRESCHOOL

The preschool ministry serves children ages 2 – 5 years old. Currently classes are available for all ages during Sunday morning services and during KidZone on Sunday evenings.
  • Children’s Church: (Ages 2 – 3rd grades)
Children’s church is offered at the 8:15 service in which they will experience structured lessons and activities.  This class is located downstairs in room 100.
  • 2 Year Old Class:
This class is available for all 2 year olds during the 9:30 and 11:00 services. They will experience a lesson; play time, snack, music and activities.  Their curriculum is based on the themes God is With Us, God Helps Us, God Knows Us and God Loves Us.  This class meet in the main hallway, rooms 200/202.
  • 3 Year Old Class:
This class is available during the 9:30 service. They are currently using the "God Rocks" curriculum to learn about the different characteristics of God.  Each unit comes with a new memory verse that is set to music which helps memorizing God's Word to be more successful with little ones.  The lessons focus on a character/story in the Bible, and include a teaching time along side a variety of activities that help to reinforce the theme of the lessons.  The three-yr. old class promotes each child on their 4th birthday.  This class meets in the main hallway, rooms 201/203
  • 4/5 Year Olds Class:
This class is available during the 9:30 service. The children will also be presented with a Bible lesson, activity, and circle time from the "God Rocks" curriculum.  They are presented with the same lesson as learned in the 3 Year Old and Wee Worship classes and they are also given a new memory verse for each new curriculum unit.  The children will remain in this class until they are promoted into Kindergarten.  This class meets in the main hallway, rooms 206/208.
  • Wee Worship:

Wee Worship is available during the 11:00 service and serves children ages 3 – 5 years old. This service was created to give this age group an introductory experience of corporate worship while still providing them with lessons at their developmental level. The children are presented with the "God Rocks" curriculum material through object lessons, music, activities, and short video clips. This age group learns best through social interaction, so they will be provided with structured time available through the use of stations. Wee Worship is provided to help make your preschoolers’ church experience both fun and educational.  The lesson they are presented is the same lesson that is taught during the 9:30 service, but uses different methods and activities to reinforce the theme.  The children stay in this class until they are promoted into Kindergarten.  This class meets in two different classrooms, both located in the main hallway, rooms 206/208 and rooms 207/209.
